Crews were working to clean up a train derailment in Collin County on Sept. 21.

The Collin County Sheriff's Office said it happened just after 11:30 p.m. at CR 558 and CR 605 in Farmersville.

Officials said that 11 cars had derailed. It was believed to be caused due to a low lying railway bridge compromised by heavy rain and floods.

No injuries were reported.

Nearly a week later, the Farmersville Fire Department was still working on the aftermath of the derailment.

Railroad cars were seen still at the scene.
