A woman and toddler have died after officials said their car was swept away in flash flooding, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The Fort Worth Fire Department tweeted that they were reporting to a possible drowning with a vehicle submerged near Wilbarger.
FOX 4 Dallas said officials confirmed that the woman and toddler had been swept off an access road into a flooded culvert.
The National Weather Service had issued flash flood warnings and watches for several parts of north and central Texas.
There are currently flooding conditions across the city, avoid high water areas. Turn around don’t drown!!
