Man dead after getting shot during argument in Killeen identified

A man is dead after getting shot during a verbal altercation in Killeen early Saturday morning. 

Killeen police said that the victim and suspect were believed to have had some sort of verbal argument in the parking lot of the Obok Restaurant and Club on S. Fort Hood Street just before 2 a.m. Saturday. 

Police said that the victim, identified as Deandre Thomas, 41, was shot by the suspect, identified as Reginald Jackson, 45. 

Jackson was arrested and charged with murder. 

Jackson is at the Bell County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
