College Station police responded to 1815 Brothers Blvd. at Walmart on a theft call. Employees were on the scene with the suspect. During the investigation, the suspect, identified as Eric Calhoun of Bryan, became uncooperative and belligerent. As the officer tried to put Calhoun in handcuffs, police said that's when Calhoun began to kick the officer in the leg and groin. He then spat in the officer's face.
