The College Station Police Department said they are investigating an aggravated kidnapping, where a suspect dressed up in a Halloween costume kidnapped a victim.

On Oct. 14 a friend of the victim, after locating their friend, who had been freed by this time, called the police to report the kidnapping.

The victim told police that the incident began in the 1300 block of Harvey Mitchell Parkway when an unknown man wearing a Halloween costume showed a weapon and ordered the victim to drive the vehicle to a location out in the county.

The victim told police that once they arrived at this location, a blindfold was placed on them and they were walked into a wooded area.

The victim said another person was heard talking with the initial suspect, followed by the victim being released and having their property returned back to them before the suspects fled the area on foot.

The victim was not injured.

The victim said they were not able to provide an accurate description of the kidnapper.
