The deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history is taking a toll on mental health.
When tragedies like the Las Vegas massacre happen, they dominate your social media feeds.
Adreanne Dugger is a child therapist at the Klaras Center for Families. She said people handle traumatic events differently and those struggling with this situation may want to log off social media for a few days.
"Even if you haven't been watching it constantly, just knowing what happened is going to affect all of us," said Dugger. "It's sad. It's scary. A lot of us are experiencing loss or grief or empathy for those who are going through that."
Dugger said it's good for people to talk to others about how they're feeling during this difficult time. She also suggests meditation to take your thoughts off the tragedy.
