A woman is in the hospital in stable condition after being hit by a car Monday evening.
College Station police said a woman was hit by a car on the University Drive and College Main just after 7 p.m.
Police said that a woman was driving a Honda Element westbound on University Drive when she disregarded a red light and hit the cyclist in the intersection.
The victim was taken to the hospital with numerous abrasions, road rash, a black eye and some bruising.
The case is still under investigation.
