A Killeen police officer was involved in an accident Sunday afternoon.
Police said the officer was traveling on Stan Schleuter Loop around 3:30 p.m. going to another call with lights and sirens on.
As he approached the intersection of Stan Schleuter Loop and Trimmier Road, police said a silver Ford came into the path of the officer and the two vehicles collided.
The officer was rushed to Seton Medical Center. Two adults and one child were rushed to Metroplex Hospital. The officer and other occupants have been released from the hospital.
The officer’s name has not been released.
The crash is under investigation.
