A potent line of storms will move through Central Texas between late Tuesday and Wednesday. A few storms could be severe, so the First Alert 25 Weather Team has declared the next 12-24 hours a First Alert Weather Day.

Tuesday Evening: Storms will move from west Texas to the western edge of our forecast area. During the late evening hours, some isolated thunderstorms could fire up over Hamilton, Goldthwaite, and San Saba. If storms make it into those areas, large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes will be possible.

Tuesday Night/Wednesday: Thunderstorms will become more widespread across Central Texas during this time period. Storms could reach the I-35 corridor between 2:00 A.M and 4:00 A.M. Between 5:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M., thunderstorms will push eastward toward the I-45 corridor. Some urban street flooding will be possible during the Wednesday morning commute. Give yourselves extra time to get to work and school!

The First Alert 25 Weather Team will continue to monitor the radar and track these storms closely. Make sure to download the First Alert 25 weather app to your mobile devices to get the most updated weather information for your location.
