Firefighters in Valley Mills were busy Friday morning after a car fire sparked a grass fire.
Officials from the Valley Mills Volunteer Fire Department said the fire started just after 2:30 a.m. on FM 217, just a few miles west of Highway 6.
Firefighters aren't sure how the car caught on fire or if it was involved in a crash, but the driver was long gone by the time crews got to the scene.
The flames from the car sparked a small grass fire near the scene, but firefighters were able to get the flames under control quickly.
