Crews are responding in Hico after two 18-wheelers collided near the intersection of Highway 6 and Highway 281 on Thursday morning.
It's still not clear if anyone was injured in the crash. A witness at a nearby convenience store told News Channel 25 that some of the flames had gone up to thirty feet in the air.
The Texas Department of Public safety says after the collision, one of the 18-wheelers struck a nearby Sonic Drive-In and the other truck hit a different building.
Nearby businesses were forced to close because of the flames.
