The trailer of an 18-wheeler caught fire while the driver was traveling along I-35 in Elm Mott.
The incident happened on the northbound side of the interstate about midnight Thursday.
The trucker noticed the flames in his rear view mirror and immediately pulled over to try and put the blaze out.
He eventually called 911, and lanes were shut down while crews attended to the fire.
They had some trouble extinguishing the flames because the trailer was carrying paper products, but they eventually put it out.
No one was hurt in the incident.
